Cheif Justice William Rehnquist passed away this evening. He was not my favorite member of the esteemed court, but I will say this for the members of the Supreme Court of the United States...while they may all have their own personal views, they have one of the hardest jobs in this country. They are the ultimate check in all of our checks and balances. They epitomize truth and fairness - the values that were most stressed to me growing up. To posess those qualities in such abundance to become one of the few guardians of the spirit of the Constitution of the United States of America is beyond enviable.
Mr. Rehnquist, though you and I may have differed on personal opinion, and while some may have branded you a conservative, I still offer my respect. Thank you for your service.

Read that one again. |

Peterson got death, Blake got cleared. That's criminal justice.
