Inexact Info

Because you just might need to know this stuff someday

Well, Mom's stuff is all sold, and she's moved to her new home in Connecticut. There's nothing interesting for me to put here for sale right now, but now that everything has calmed down some, I'll be able to get back to selling (hopefully) some of the cool stuff that I have been making.

5.15 Reloaded PDF Print E-mail

All I can say for now is "whoa".  I am pretty much still reeling from last night.  Since I don't want to spoil it for anyone, for now I will end with this:  if you were hesitant about paying the $10 to see Matrix Reloaded in the theater, don't be.  It's really worth the money, and it just won't be the same on the small screen.  It is so much more than just eye candy - it is an experience similar to a roller coaster ride, and coming from an adreneline junkie like me, that's saying a lot.

I swore I wasn't going to be a huge geek, but it didn't turn out that way.  I have purchased my Matrix tickets already for Thursday afternoon.  I have also given the 10 people who read this blog the distinct privelege (?) of this lovely Matrix inspired style sheet.  At least it's only temporary, and you can switch back to blue or orange by clicking the appropriate links.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is the Best! PDF Print E-mail

No, really...it is. I mean it. Even if you don't care for anime. Here, I'll prove it. What are some of the greatest achievements in any form of visual storytelling - include film, video, performance art, whatever. Citizen Kane? Wings of Desire? City Lights? The Matrix? Magnolia? Guess what...Neon Genesis Evangelion ranks right up there, if not surpassing them all. If a piece of artwork could successfully depict what it is to be human, this series would come the closest. It captures both the deepest sorrow and the greatest triumph. It explains the condition of being alive and explores the multitude of emotions we are capable of experiencing including faith, love, loss, anger, and all of them mixed together. It defines the soul.

Watch it now - you won't be sorry....and coming soon, more about Evangelion (like I could help it)
